1957 Desoto Custom Exotic Car

1957 Desoto sport coupe radical custom for sale in Florida. We are still working on the full history. The story goes... it was purchased from a 94 year old car guy who was an engineer in Michigan for the Desoto company. When the factory closed, the extra parts were used to create this car, what was not Desoto was added to make the custom you see. We were told at the car show that it was in life magazine and hot rod magazine in the late 1950's and may have been shown at the World's fair.

The desoto was freshened up with new paint, upgraded seats, stereo system, detailed trunk, rebuilt trans, new brakes, new dual exhaust, re chromed Desoto bumpers, chrome rims with baby moons and new fat white tires.

The 341 hemi engine runs great. Auto push button trans and power steering. The car is rust free and all steel.

Modifications are: the body is sectioned. The hood nosed with a custom scoope in hood. Buick head lights, custom grill, trunk is decked, 1950 dodge tail lights. All body stainless was removed and filled. Custom shortened roof with working side windows. The interior is tan vinyl, 57 Desoto dash, custom console with am/fm cd stereo system, push button trans buttons in console, newer grant steering wheel.

The body is straight with very nice red paint. This exotic car drives great and gets lots of looks!
