Duo Glide Harley Davidson Motorcycle

I am the third documented owner of this Harley Duo Glide for sale in Danville, Virginia. A friend had it since 1990 and he bought it from original owner. The bike had 13,000 miles when he got it has 22,000 miles now. This bike is the last year of kick start only and 6 volt elec. system. Most of the original parts are still on bike. Motor never been into. Well maintained and runs perfect. Strongest stock panhead I've ever seen. I would feel comfortable riding cross country on this bike. No leaks, rattles, or vibrations. They must have built this one on a Wed. because it runs like it's new.

I bought this Harley last year and have rode it regularly but due to health issues need push button. I have bad back due to accident. The bike kick starts very easy but I can't do it anymore. I would love to keep it but if I'm going to keep riding, I just have to bite the bullet and sell it or trade for new one. I will consider trade from dealer for new bike of equal value.

There aren't many of these left and none I've seen that are as original as this one. Would be fine as daily rider or put up to show. This bike has actually won and placed in several shows and it was rode to all of them.

I have lots of extra parts and accessories, all original Harley Davidson stuff for this particular year bike. I will hate to see it go but hate not being able to ride on a regular basis anymore. I didn't have bags on in this picture until i had submitted it, but i have them. They are black. I also have put original mufflered pipes back on since the pidture was taken.
