1964 Mercury Monterey - $8,500 - Bucyrus, Ohio

by Dwayne
(Bucyrus, Ohio)

1964 Mercury Monterey

1964 Mercury Monterey

1964 Mercury Monterey. 25th anniversary model with "breezeway roof". 390FE engine runs great, Merc-o-matic transmission (just rebuilt), 93,000 original miles. Electric rear window! This car spent it's entire life in Mesa, Arizona so there's no rust or rot anywhere. Always garaged and never driven in salt or snow while in Ohio the last 3 years. New Torque-Thrust wheels and 4 new tires, brakes completely rebuilt with all new parts, seats just re-upholstered this winter, new headliner, new carpet, heater box rebuilt, new dual exhaust with old-school "Smithy" mufflers. This car is a proven driver and it's very fun and dependable... drives and rides like a new car. TONS of extra parts including another complete 390FE engine and transmission, hood, trunk lid, spare glass, chrome galore, too much to list. Dealer installed A/C is complete, and the compressor and all factory mounting brackets are included in the sale as well. Car was re-painted once in the early 1980's. This car is a TRUE survivor, not a bondo buggy... bring mirrors & magnets and see her for yourself! Priced at $8,500 or best offer for everything. Located in Bucyrus Ohio. Call or e-mail at hotroddwayne2000@yahoo.com for more photos and details. Only needs repainted and a small oil leak from the rear main repaired to be perfect. (740) 360-3940 this car is a proven driver... just drove it to Indianapolis again this weekend for the Goodguys Hotrod Nationals with no problems (5 1/2 hour drive each way) and is a pleasure to drive, rides and drives perfect and loves the freeway. These Montereys were known as the original "turnpike cruiser" for good reason.
