1979 Mercedes Benz 450SEL - $3,000 - Utica, New York

Up for sale is a 1979 Mercedes Benz 450SEL for $3,000 OR BEST OFFER. NEEDS mostly cosmetic work. This is a great car and it is good on gas! The air conditioning is not working at this time. The seats have some cracking in the leather from use and the same on the dashboard. The carpet area in the back window is faded from the original darker blue to light blue.

The front driver side has some small damage done by the owner prior to the last one. It has some scratches and some dents and dings. There is a piece of molding missing on one side.

I have had minimal work done:

Replace the air filter
Replaced the oil filter
Replaced one of the ends on the wire for battery.
Replaced the batter with a new one.
All new rear break system.
The prior owner had a new Tune-up three years ago then put the car in storage. I feel that the plugs should be changed.

The drivers side handle is broke but is still operable. The drivers side front window does not come down uncertain why, it may be the motor.

The origin of the car is from Boston and about late 1980's ended up in New York State. It has not been used much, based on the records and service. The mileage is 91,599 miles. The vehicle was lifted up a month ago at the repair shop, when checking the exhaust, there is barely any rust. There is surface rust spots but not rusted through.

There has been a jealous person throwing dirt on my Mercedes; I want the car gone. I cannot keep an eye on it 24/7. I really hope that someone can buy this car and take it some place safe away from where it is now. The car has a clear Title and is ready to go.

I am willing to give a break on the cost of the car to help with shipping. To keep down the miles on the car it should be transported. I limit my driving with the car; I will not even eat in it. I try to take care of it the best I can.
