One of Many Pictures

One of a Kind Customized Handicapped Wheelchair Accessible 2005 36v EZGO Golf Cart, which has been Specially Customized for Handicapped Wheelchair Use! I purchased this USED 2005 EZ-GO golf cart from "Golf Cars of Searcy" in Searcy Arkansas. It was purchased in late May, 2009, with the sole intention of doing what every so-called Custom Golf Cart/Car Retailer on the Internet said "COULD NOT BE DONE" to stretch it so that a person in a wheelchair could roll up on it, secure the wheelchair and go for a leisurely ride. I had a local certified welder stretch and slightly widen the golf cart. You might think that this would decrease the frame/body strength and/or integrity, if anything the golf cart strength/structural integrity is stronger than it was from the factory!

This cart is in Excellent Condition, Runs and Drives Great - Very Clean and ready to take you practically anywhere!

Seats three able-bodied individuals and one wheelchair bound individual both comfortably and safely.

Boarding is a breeze, thanks to a large 3' wide wheelchair ramp that is easy-to-use and conveniently stores under the golf cart while traveling, so regardless of where you go you can unload and go shopping, hunting, fishing, visiting family or friends etc...

The wheelchair ramp can be accessed from either side, since the drivers seat is removable and the wheelchair ramp has mounting brackets in two places on each side of the cart/car.

A four-point Q-Straint system can be utilized to lock the wheelchair firmly in place, but I use plastic coated steel cable (1000 pound test strength) and a cable/chain binder to secure my wheelchair. I use the same cable system to secure my wheelchair in my Van and have been inspected by an Officer with the Arkansas State Highway Patrol and the officer said that "It looks like you are safely secured."

I would not be selling this golf cart, but since I'm often traveling such long distances and sometimes I'm out until dusk dark, my family and I would feel safer with a street legal golf cart, i.e., Headlights, Tail Lights, Turn Signals and Brake Lights

142 inches long - from front bumper to rear bumper

66 inches X 53 inches wide floor space from backseat to the incline where the foot pedals are located. This provides adequate wheelchair seating area.

10 inch chrome wheels and tires - No Rust on wheels.

New Batteries were added when purchased.

New Power Wise 120 Volt battery charger plugs into standard outlet.

The pictures were taken July 3, 2009 and show the wheelchair ramp partially pulled out, so you will be able to see exactly what it looks like. I have side view photos and hopefully everything you will need to see just how well built this golf cart/car is.

You are welcome to come look the golf cart/car over and try it out, if you are nearby.

Price: $3,500

Thanks for looking... and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
