First Show
Since I was very young my parents took me to many car shows. My father grew up down the street from a man who built Custom Harley's back in the 50’s and 60’s. This man, Richard Hicks, drove a 33 Ford Pick-up and from the age of about 12 my father wanted that truck. 42 years later my Dad owns that Chopped 33 truck. Dad told me you're never too young to start. So I raised a pig for the County Fair, sold the pig and bought my first car. I found the body of a Chopped 31 Coupe for $500.00, Frame and rear end $40.00, and a 307 Chevy small block out of a 70 Chevelle for $500.00 on E-Bay. So at the age of twelve I started my first car, and at 13 my Mom, Dad, and I started an online store to help me raise the money needed to build my car.
On May 22, 2009, I became a vendor at West Coast Kustoms Show in Santa Maria. My booth was well received and was told by many of the other Vendors I had a top rate booth. I have about 4 suppliers at this time and sell top of the line gas Station Memorabilia, Signs, Decals and Custom Street Signs. I do not sell knock-offs, these are Licensed Shell, Mobil, Polly, Gilmore, Texaco and Flying A Reproductions. I am presently rebuilding a 1948 Bennett Gas Pump and will be selling restoration parts soon. Alexandria@31coupe.com, (805)462-8727, 31Coupe.com.
I plan on attending shows in Central and Northern California as my parents will be showing their Bardahl-33-Ford pickup statewide. My Dad - Rick@Bardahl33ford.com, (805) 462-8727, "Bardahl33ford.com."
