Before I moved to Las Vegas, I used to vacation there. One year while walking through one of the casinos I saw Anne Miller. She was regally dressed from head to toe and everyone was walking past her. Very nervously, I asked her if I could have her autograph. With the biggest smile, and the most sweetest voice she said "Well, of course dear". Shortly, thereafter a group of very young women came up to me and asked if "she" was someone famous. I stated " Thats the great Anne Miller. One of the greatest dancers of all times". They walked away looking puzzled. I walked away excited to have met a real legend.
