In 2007, I got to go backstage and meet Billy Joe Shaver after his show at the downtown auditorium in Greenville, TX. He is my favorite Country Music songwriter and singer. He is a colorful performer and always has a crowd at his shows. He is real down-to-earth and friendly, and all his fans love him. He always has time for them, signing autographs, and talking to them. He talked to me about his songs and signed the picture of him that I had with me. I will never forget it. It was the highlight of my life!
