Boricua Group, LLC; a franchisee of Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies, is owned and operated by managing partners Mairim Garriga and Matthew Wales. The company began operations in 2004 in New York City with much success. However, after five years of building our experience with some wonderful clients and friends, we decided that we were ready to make a move to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. As of 2009, we are based in Milton, Washington; approximately 30 miles south of Seattle and nine miles east of Tacoma. We offer Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies at events, parties, functions, and anywhere people crave all natural, fat free smoothies and rich, robust coffees that burst with flavor. In addition to offering healthy alternatives to sugary drinks via our delicious smoothies and unique coffees that are about taste rather than trends; we offer something that the competition doesn't: A vacation in a cup. From the parasol smoothie garnishes to the collectible Tiki cups to the Kona blended coffees and espresso to the frozen chill drinks, we offer a taste of Hawaii without ever leaving the mainland.
