I met the boss at the Spectrum after a concert at the backstage party. It was a bitter sweet night since it was 12/08/80 the night that maniac Chapman shot and killed John Lennon. The good thing was that we did not find out about the tragedy until after the show and subsequent backstage affair. We found out on the radio as we were traveling home. Bruce is a great guy and spent a good deal of time chatting with me and my date. I did meet him once again after that night. I am a veteran of 52 shows and counting.
