Copper Cattail Wind Chimes
COPPER CATTAIL WIND CHIMES tm. This is my own unique and original design. This work has been grant funded by the Ford Foundation Endowment for the Arts and it is considered Native American Contemporary Art. My art is in numerous Galleries and I attend many art shows throughout the US and Canada.
Each "one Of a kind" set is individually hand crafted by myself. I use only the highest quality copper and bronze available. Each long slender copper leaf is hand cut and the entire set is then burnished by fire. They will not rust and have no strings to break or replace. Swaying in the breeze, they touch and softly ring...creating peaceful tones for your garden, pond, patio or deck. OR, they may be displayed as a unique indoor sculpture in a vase, block or large potted plant.
The chimes may stay outdoors all four seasons and they are accompanied by an installation pipe and instruction sheet that will outline the many different ways to display them - like 'how to make the retaining wall block holder for 69 cents, or how to make them 10 feet tall by using another piece of copper pipe and yes, they will patina green after a while...or the instructions will inform you on how to keep their copper look for many years. They even come with a copper "adjustment" band to control the amount of movement in the wind so you can quiet them down completely (in case your neighbor has a hangover and he is the crabby type). Total height is 36 inches (unless you want to make them taller). The chimes in the photo are just like, but not the exact set you will recieve.
