Don Ray Band, is a Nashville based, national touring, Americana band created by world class songwriters and studio, touring musicians. The Don Ray Band has released it's new single, a remake of "Love Is" featuring recording artist Shaun Murphy whom is the former lead singer with Little Feat and current background vocalist with Bob Seger.

The band members are:

Don Ray – Singer/Songwriter, percussionist first based out of Austin, Texas and now Nashville, Tennessee.

Jonathan Armstrong – Keyboards, Songwriter, Vocalist - Jon has toured extensively with Earl Thomas Conley as his Keyboard Player, Band Leader and Road Manager.

Donnie Lee Clark – Guitarist, Songwriter, Vocalist - Donnie has toured with Earl Thomas Conley, Pure Prairie League and Blues recording artist Duke Tumatoe.

Curtis Jay – Bass Guitar – Curtis Jay has toured with Earl Thomas Conley and has many recording projects to his credit including sessions with Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer, Artimus Pyle.

Scott Thompson – Drums – Scott is a Nashville session drummer and has toured with Pam Tillis, Chad Brock and others.

Their 2009 album release, “On Top Of The Heap”, received a warm welcome by the Southern Rock and Blues communities and has stayed consistently on the Roots Music Report radio charts for nearly 16 months. In January 2010, Blues Underground Network awarded their album “2009 Best USA Blues Album”, “2009 Best Overall Blues Debut Album” and ranked them #2 on the Top 25 Best Worldwide Blues Albums of 2009. In April of 2010, Real Blues Magazine placed their 2009 debut album at the #1 spot on their Top 100 “Must Purchase” Blues Albums chart.

Their 2nd album “Lonesome Rider” was released August 17th, 2010 and made it’s debut on the Roots Music Report chart at #49 on Sept. 3rd, 2010 and has been as high as #4 on the APD Americana radio chart.

The 2011 live concert DVD highlights the personal connection crowds experience at a Don Ray Band concert and displays the undeniable chemistry the band members share.
