Since I was at least nine years old my favorite band has been Van Halen not Van Hagar.. and ever since I liked them they have been broken up. But in 2008 they came to Dallas and my parents were able to get tickets. One of my middle school teachers had a connection to the people who worked with Van Halen and they were able to get my teacher into the birthday party that was being held for Eddie before the concert (just a little celebration before the after party) and my teacher was able to get me in and I got to meet Eddie and wish him happy birthday and get his autograph. It was a touching moment for me because Eddie was the first celebrity that I ever met and I still have his autograph hanging on my wall today.
