Blooming Onion Information

A Blooming Onion, also known as bloomin onion or onion blossom, is a whole onion (usually a Vidalia) that has been de-cored, sliced (usually with a machine cutter or maker) to resemble a flower that has blossomed, breaded with batter, seasoned, & deep fried. They are usually served with a sweet onion sauce and sold at festivals, fairs and special events.
