George A. Romero - Nashville, Tennessee

We were at a horror convention in Nashville, Tennessee two years ago where George A. Romero, legendary director or "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead", was having a special appearance. We waited in line to meet him for almost an hour and when we got to the front of the line our camera sadly died. George, himself, actually asked the people who were in line behind us if we could use their digital camera for a photo op and if he would e-mail us the photos. It actually worked! Mr. Romero is really one of the kindest people I've ever met. After years of being a cult classic figure he still respects each and every fan that comes to see him.
