I was working on the college newspaper and was sent to interview Hank Williams, Jr., after his show. He had me follow him to his bus, where he was mainly interested in watching a Dallas Cowboys football game. I stuck my foot in my mouth when I asked him how he liked growing up with Hank Williams. "My dad died when I was 3," he said. I learned to do my homework before an interview after that!
