Idaho Shakespeare Festival
Boise, Idaho - June
Descriptions: The Idaho Shakespeare Festival is an annual tradition. In addition to all the magic, drama and passion of professional theater, and a 760 seat, state-of-the-art facility that was built to feature the human voice, the Festival Amphitheater and Reserve is nestled in a unique habitat that is home to an astonishing variety of plant and animal species. As you wind your way into the theater proper, you'll enjoy native plants, the songs of water birds and glimpses of deer, heron, ducks, geese and an occasional fox. The Festival's mission is to produce great theater, entertain and educate.

Horseshoe Bend Banjo Festival and Contest
Horseshoe Bend, Idaho - June
Descriptions: The Horseshoe Bend Banjo Festival is an event for all ages. People pluck it out in a battle for the title and prize money. Aside from the music makers, the Horseshoe Bend Banjo festival is just a good excuse to get out, eat, drink, camp and play bingo.

Descriptions: Eagle Fun Days is a weekend event drawing patrons from all over the Treasurer Valley. Activities include a "Wet and Wild" parade, golf tournament, the locally famous "Nut Feed", a carnival, auto show, rodeo, and more for the whole family.

National Oldtime Fiddlers Festival
Weiser, Idaho - June
Descriptions: The National Oldtime Fiddlers Festival is one of the best surprises around. Since 1953 Weiser, Idaho has played host to fiddlers and friends from around the world. Dedicated to preserving and perpetuating fiddle music for generations to come, this annual event offers many opportunities to listen and learn from some of the finest musicians in the world.

Salmon River Days (Salmon, Idaho Festival)
Salmon, Idaho - July
Descriptions: The Horseshoe Salmon River Days includes a kids fishing derby, family reunions, arts and crafts, boat and bike races, demolition derby, parade and fireworks display, cowboy poetry, a concert, an auction, the Leadore Rodeo, a community dance, softball games, sidewalk sales, horseshoe tournament, horse races, motorcross races and a quilt Show. Events are held all over Salmon. There will also be an art show, and activities at the new Sacajawea Interpretive and Educational Center.

Northwest Motorfest
Boise, Idaho - July
Descriptions: Northwest Motorfest is Idaho's largest car show. See 1,000 hot rods, street machines, classics and antiques parked on the grass of EXPO IDAHO with approximately 20,000 spectators. Not only 1,000 vehicles on the grass, Motorfest has features such as: 1968 Miss Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane, 1967 Eagle Electric top fuel dragster, fire-off nitro twice both days, extreme rock crawling demonstration, drag racing lawn mowers, Toros and Snappers with motorcycle and snowmobile engines in them, BOISE MUFFLER Holeshot Nationals, a 100' dragstrip with a stoplight start. Main stage with on-going music from the 50s, 60, and 70s. Same food vendors found at the Western Idaho Fair, and 40+ product vendors. Event is family friendly.

Sunday Blues
Boise, Idaho - July
Descriptions: Sunday Blues, put on by the Boise Blues Society, is an educational non-profit whose mission is to support and promote blues music in Boise and the surrounding area. This event always includes a great lineup of music. The weather is always great and the people are friendly, so come on out for a wonderful, relaxing afternoon of blues in the park!

Snake River Stampede
Nampa, Idaho - July
Descriptions: The Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho is one of the top 10 regular professional rodeos in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Snake River Dayz boasts a pre-rodeo celebration including free concerts, specialty acts, Mini Miss Snake River Dayz Pageant, Farmers Market and Craft Fair, tons of kids activities, a giant 9-foot cowboy, 18 foot puppets and some of the finest fiddlers in the Valley. There are climbing walls, trolley rides and tours, and craft activities for kids of all ages.

McCall Summer Music Festival at Rosebery
Donnelly, Idaho - July
Description: The McCall Summer Music Festival takes place in July at Roseberry, Idaho. Three nights of good music, dancing and fun for the whole family! Starting from humble beginnings with local musicians and some of their out-of-town friends in the late 70s, the Festival has become a favorite site for national and international musical groups, both for its friendly atmosphere and especially for the high caliber of music now being attracted to the McCall music scene.

Festival at Sandpoint
Sandpoint, Idaho - August
Description: Come enjoy the Festival at Sandpoint. Since 1983, this non-profit Idaho Festival has hosted its internationally renowned summer concert series in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The festival is audience friendly. It is a customized concert experience without equal. You can feast on fabulous food and beverages on "Festival Street," or bring your own picnic basket and cooler from home. You can stretch out on a blanket, cruise in a lawn chair (bring your own or rent ours), sit in the grandstands or let loose in our dancing areas.

Rasberry Festival
Cottonwood, Idaho - August
Description: The Annual Rasberry Festival is a benefit for the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude in Cottonwood. This country festival features homemade Raspberry shortcake and BBQ beef sandwiches, live entertainment, cultural and craft demonstrations, arts & crafts booths, raffle, 10K fun run/walk and car show, motorcycle review, and quilt show.

Caldwell Night Rodeo
Caldwell, Idaho - August
Description: Today the Caldwell Night Rodeo is listed among the top 20 professional rodeos in the nation and draws crowds in the neighborhood of 40,000 over five nights. The best professional cowboys in the world make the Caldwell Night Rodeo an annual stop in their schedule. It has been featured on nationwide television and is one of the rodeos listed on the professional rodeo tour.

Description: The Sun Valley Swing'n'Dixie Jazz Jamboree takes place in 13 locations with over 300 shows around Sun Valley and Ketchum. The music that is played covers a wide range of jazz, swing, Dixieland, blues, ragtime and classic ballads made famous by the likes of Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Count Basie.
