(Stewart, TN, USA)
7/13/2014 (Stewart, Tennessee) - The building was built in 1929. It was an old school house and now it is a community center that we are reopening. It has the old post office in its building. We are having several things that day. We are trying to raise money to put a park in for the community center. We have several vendors that are setting up that morning and we will start at 9:00 AM. There is a $20.00 fee per booth and it is a 10x10 space; it is a non-electric space. We have electric spaces as well. They are $30.00 per booth space.
We are also going to have a parade. All horses, mules, donkeys, mares, and jacks are free. Anything else that enters the parade is a $20.00 fee. Line up starts at 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. The parade starts at 11:00 AM. It starts at 5370 Hwy. 147 and it will go to 150 Maple Rd. It ends at the Stewart Community Center.
We will also have a car and truck show at 2:00 PM and trophies will be given out. It's a $25.00 entry fee.
We would like to have vendors of all kinds, from farm fresh foods to home baked goods, and also arts and crafts, or any other types of booths that you would like to set up.
We will also be having games, inflatables, outdoor games, horseshoes, tug-of-war, toe-sack racing, and much more.
We will also be having live music throughout the day. Anyone who plays music is welcome to play. It's free to play and free to listen to.
For any information please call Philip at 1-931-721-2980. All entry fees can be paid the morning of the event.
