5/28/2016 Spokane, Washington - Spokane VegFest 2016 is looking for additional vendors for the event on July 23rd. Here is an overview of our event:
Spokane Vegfest, Washington State's only completely plant-based festival, is put on by INVeg, a non-profit organization based out of Spokane, Washington. Our mission is to provide a support for anyone who is interested in learning more about a plant-based diet or living in a more compassionate manner. One of the strongest draws to the festival is the health focus. Many people in the Spokane area are very interested in getting healthier and a whole foods plant-based diet is one of the simplest ways to accomplish this. We are hosting the 3rd Annual Spokane Vegfest: Healthy Living Expo & Music Festival on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 from 10-6 at Spokane Community College. Our event was a huge success last year, we drew in over 2,000 visitors from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Canada and featured renowned speakers and chefs.
This year we are expecting to break 3,000 visitors and featuring renowned speakers and chefs from across the country (ultra-endurance athlete Rich Roll
, Farm Sanctuaries founder Gene Baur
, Julie Piatt
, and Eric O'Grey
), cooking and dance classes, a music festival, farmers market, food trucks, and we are doubling our space for vendors. We expect to have between 100-150 vendors this year. The purpose of this event is to promote the ethical, environmental, and health benefits of a vegan lifestyle as well as to introduce people to local and national vendors who support any means of physical and emotional health in ways that are animal friendly (i.e. products that are vegan and cruelty free/free of animal testing). You can learn more about the event on our website Spokane VegFest
