Then on Saturday, May 17th, 2008, theScholarship Car Show sponsored in conjunction with Jeff Sachs Auto 2 will be held at Anderson Dean Park. Car Show registration begins at 4 p.m. with dash plaques given to the first 75 cars who register. Car show Judging will beginat 5 p.m. Three Foot Tall Trophies for ten different classes will be offered which include Best Classic Truck, Best Ford, Best GM, Best MOPAR, Best PT Cruiser, Best Street Rods, Best Rat Rod, Best Specialty, Best 1980 and Older, and Best 1981 to Present. Plaques donated by Jeff Sachs Auto 2 for 2nd placeto 11th place in the TOP 10 cars of 1981 and NEWER and also for TOP 10 cars of 1980 and OLDER will also be awarded. A NEON Lights Class will also be offered with a six foot tall trophy as the award. There will be a three foot trophy for the *Most Car Club Participation award and for the *People's Choiceaward. Spectators and Car show entrants may cast their vote at $1 per each for their favorite car show entry for the People's Choice award. Registration for the Corn Hole Tournament with a $100 first prize sponsored by HITACHI will begin at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. contest. The Salvisa Ruritan Club will be serving Angus Burger Meals and funnel cakes as well.
