Liberace - Cleveland, Ohio

I was working in a record store in the 1970's and he was booked for our grand opening. I never could understand his appeal until that day. He was so NICE! He walked in wearing a floor length mink coat and handed it to me put up - I was just kind of shocked - we were standing in the break room and he just waved his hand over a couple plastic stack chairs and said, "Oh, just throw it down anywhere". There was a huge line of older lady fans waiting to meet him and he took his time with each and every one of them and didn't leave until they all got his autograph - gracious and smiling the whole time.

Sure wish celebrities these days could show such class.
