(Tunkhannock, PA, USA)
4/19/2016 Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania - An invitation to food and craft vendors to be part of the Bluebells Festival, an event taking place Sunday, May 1, 2016 to raise funds for the Endless Mountains Nature Center's annual Nature Day Camp.
The Bluebells Festival takes place at the Endless Mountains Nature Center on the incredibly beautiful Vosburg Neck, just west of Tunkhannock. The festival features activities and entertainment for folks of all ages. A wide variety of local artists and vendors will offer their products for sale. Informative speakers and workshops, activities and crafts for children, guided nature walks, unique photo opportunities and more will entertain and educate visitors! A highlight of the festival is the opportunity to take a guided or self-guided walk through the largest patch of Virginia Bluebells in Northeastern Pennsylvania. There is no charge for entrance to the festival, though a ticket fee will be charged to those who wish to partake in a catered tea party held on festival grounds.
The Bluebells Festival will be raising funds for Endless Mountains Nature Center's annual Nature Day Camp, which is open to children ages 4 to 17. This year camp will feature drastically reduced tuition and bus transportation in order to accommodate more children then ever before. Nature Day Camp provides a safe and education experience, introducing children to a variety of topics and fostering a love of the outdoors.
