Vikingland Band Festival
Alexandria, Minnesota - June Description: The Vikingland Band Festival is Minnesota’s largest marching band festival and competition has its roots in Alexandria and its sponsorship through the Chamber of Commerce. Sounds of music fill the streets of Alexandria the last weekend in June when over 2,500 high school band musicians arrive to compete in the Festival. Up to 20 marching bands from throughout Minnesota perform in what is known as Minnesota’s biggest summer marching band competition. Thousands of students and parents travel to Alexandria for the weekend.

Moondance Jam
Walker, Minnesota - July Description: Billed as the campin' and jammin' event of the summer, Moondance Jam is an outdoor music event for classic rock enthusiasts. The Jam takes place at the Moondance Jam Fairgrounds in Walker, Minnesota. Camping is a major part of the Moondance Jam experience. It is Minnesota's biggest rock fest, and Classic Rock Revisited dubbed the event "the premier classic rock festival in the United States." There are headliner, local bands, and Cajun bands performing. Food and merchandise are plentiful at the festival.
10,000 Lakes Festival
Detroit Lakes, Minnesota - July Description: The 10,000 Lakes Music Festival takes place at the scenic Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. 10KLF features premium on-site camping and live performances all weekend long. The 10,000 Lakes Festival showcases over 60 artists and bands on four stages, including the Barn Stage on a shady hill overlooking the concert bowl, the Field Stage where music-lovers spread out and soak up some sun, the Saloon Stage for intimate concerts and late night jams, and the Main Stage where everyone gathers in the evening for the headliners. There are numerous bars and food/beverage/merchandise booths.

Bayfront Blues Festival
