8/29/2012 (Campbellsville, Tennessee) - The Campbellsville Area Association is presenting its Campbellsville Heritage Festival October 6th along the community’s main thoroughfare. Since its inception three years ago, the Heritage Festival has attracted several hundred visitors to shop with vendors, learn as craftsmen demonstrate traditional methods, listen to local musicians and vocalists perform and gobble hot barbeque roasted on the spot. Admission is free to all.
“We are pleased at how the event is growing and want to attract even more entertainment and offerings for our visitors,” said Maurice Woodard, Chairman of the Campbellsville Area Association, a nonprofit all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving Campbellsville’s heritage and promoting its future.
The community is located on Hwy. 166 between Pulaski and Mt. Pleasant. To rent a booth, to volunteer to perform or demonstrate or for questions call/leave message at 931-363-4856, 931-363-8774 or 931-363-8584. Proceeds from the vendor booth fees are used for the organization's preservation and promotion efforts.
