Gaspee Days
Warwick, Rhode Island - May Description: The Annual Gaspee Days Arts & Crafts Fest held on Memorial Weekend, attracts approximately 50,000 people for three days browsing and purchasing the wares of the 150-200 craft exhibitors along Narragansett Parkway in Warwick. All while this is going on, there is a professional food court, free family music entertainment, and other diversions for the children located in Pawtuxet Park.

Newport Folk Festival

It was where Joan Baez became a star and Bob Dylan went electric in one of the most infamous gigs in music history. Newport Jazz Festival
Newport, Rhode Island - August Description: Each year for one summer weekend in August at the Newport Jazz Festival, thousands of jazz lovers arrive in Newport to hear legendary and new names in jazz music. Newport Irish Festival

The festival features activities, including Irish fiddlers and foot stomping and twirling at the authentic Shamrock Dance Hall and Irish corned beef and cabbage at The Oyster Garden.
