Sonny and Cher - Jacksonville, Florida

I worked as a bus boy at the Indianapolis airport restaurant in 1966. I used the employee only elevator to leave work around 9:30PM one night as I usually did. When the door opened I bounded out without looking and bumped into Cher with Sonny and some men in suits waiting to get into the elevator. One of the men grabbed me until he realized it was just an accident. Sonny was wearing the funny fur vest and Cher had the hippie look going on. I stood dumbfounded wondering who this odd pair was as they got on the elevator. I saw the news when I got home saying they had done some concert around 7:30 that night. Then I realized I should have said, "I got you babe" when I bumped into her. lol
