Alaska - Palmer August 26 - September 6, 2010 Palmer, Alaska (one hour north of Anchorage) Details: Welcome to the Alaska State Fair, home of record-setting giant vegetables and beautiful flower gardens. Nestled in the heart of the Chugach Mountains, in the fertile Matanuska-Susitna Valley the Fairgrounds are just an hour north of Anchorage. Each Fall, the Fair provides a setting for Alaska's last blast of summer, a showcase of Alaska's uniqueness and beauty.
Alaska - Fairbanks August 6 - August 14, 2010 Fairbanks, Alaska Details: This annual fair is a community gathering point featuring family fun for all, including livestock, games, rides, an amusement park, horse shows, arts and crafts, competitive exhibits, quilt shows, giant cabbages, contests, contests and special events, and two stage outdoor stages with free entertainment daily. More than 300 booths and fabulous food can be found at our Fair.

While it doesn’t matter if they come for the livestock competitions, concerts, thrill rides, food, or just to people watch, the crowds gather on the Iowa State Fairgrounds for the most fun-filled eleven days in August.
Kansas September 10 to September 19, 2010 Hutchinson Kansas Details: The largest single event in the State, the Fair annually attracts approximately 350,000 people from all 105 Kansas counties and several other states. The Fair offers tremendous opportunities for commerce with over 1,000 commercial exhibit locations; for competition, with over 30,000 entries in various competitive exhibit departments; for education, through its Kansas' Largest Classroom field trip program; and for entertainment with strolling and stage entertainment in addition to the national acts performing at the Grandstand. In addition to the annual State Fair, the Fairgrounds' facilities are utilized throughout the year for a wide array of events, including horse and livestock shows, trade shows, flea markets, wedding receptions, family reunions, and company picnics, to name just a few.

Louisiana October 28 to November 7, 2010 Baton Rouge, Louisiana Details: The Greater Baton Rouge Fair is operated by an all-volunteer Fair Board with the help of a number of dedicated volunteers. Monies raised by the Fair are used to fund youth-oriented Worthy Causes in the Greater Baton Rouge area with over $1,500,000 being returned to the community in the years since 1987.

Mississippi October 6 to October 17, 2010 Jackson, Missippi Details: The Mississippi Fair is located in Jackson, Mississippi. The fair begins the first Wednesday in October each year. It runs for twelve days. The Mississippi State Fair is one of the South's major fairs with 549,387 attending in 1999. The mile long midway, free major entertainment, livestock shows and 120,000 sq. ft. of exhibits are the main attractions.
Missouri August 12 - August 22, 2010 Sedalia, Missouri Details: "More Fun Than Ever!" awaits you at this fair! It has all the fun things you love: concerts from some of music's biggest stars, rodeo action and bullriding, lots of free entertainment, prize farm animals, contests and exhibits.
