Bob Lanza has been a band leader on the New York and New Jersey circuit for 30 years. He has performed with different bands and studied with Nashville legend Dave Perkins. With more hot blues fire in his gut than ever before, Bob and the band have created a hot blues album that everyone will enjoy.

The Bob Lanza Blues Band plays stone cold blues all over the New York and New Jersey area. The band was asked by " Superharp" James Cotton to back him in 2006. Bob's song writing ability and mastery of his "Cowgirl" Gibson guitar have given rise to talk of his being the next sensation in the blues world. Accompanied by those hot cowgirls on or off stage, Bob Lanza is THE Blues Man when it comes to music. The Bob Lanza Blues Band has released their much anticipated new album "Things Ain't So Bad" and the independent label, Sky Lab Recording Studio, makes it globally available through CD Baby this month. The song "Cowgirl" on his new cd, hits home as soon as you hear it. The whole CD is filled with foot stomping blues tracks that you will emjoy.

This band is full of the best the NJ/NY area has to offer. Bob Lanza is stellar on guitar he swings with a groove few have, Sandy is always drivin the funky bass lines, Dave " snakeman" is a Harp player full of tone TONE TONE then on the skins either Steve or Jamo the both are masters of dynamics.
