"The Makers were awe-inspiring: a six piece band consisting of a drummer, a stand up base, and a gorgeous dark-haired singer who belted out bluesy vocals like Etta James. It reminded me of a big band playing in at a jazz club that has been transported from the 40's. Young rockabilly kids, well dressed middle-aged couples, and even one elderly gentleman were swing dancing around the room, while others sat at tables cabaret-style."
