Tug McGraw at a Convention - Seven Springs Resort, Pennsylvania

I was always fond of Phillies Player Tug McGraw and had attended a week long convention with my then husband, which was held at the Seven Springs Resort on the western side of Pennsylvania.
I knew Tug was going to be one of the speakers for eight of the sessions, but had no clue that I would actually get to meet with him and he would spend the evening going to the hospitality rooms with us.

The first night we were at the dining room and I literally bumped right into him when going to the ladies room. Then I had turned in early while the others went out to chat and all of a sudden I got a phone call from my husband to come to one of the hospitality rooms. Telling him that I had already changed into sleeping attire he said, "Come now or Tug is coming to get you." I immediately got dressed and went to the room and sure enough Tug was there and we chatted for a long time. What a nice, funny and interesting person to talk to. Then two weeks later I was walking for the March of Dimes Walk-a-thon and Tug was one of the walkers. We walked along side each other reminiscing about the great time we had at the convention.
