Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival
Wheeling, West Virginia - July Description: The Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival is the largest Italian Festival in West Virginia and the 2nd largest in the United States! The event attracts more than 175,000 visitors from around the United States and Canada. The Festival has more to offer than food, fellowship, and free entertainment (although who could want more?). Scattered throughout the midway you will find arts & crafts booths and numerous games-of-skill to keep everyone in your party entertained all night long.

The Augusta Festival
Elkins, West Virginia - August Description: At the Augusta Festival, family-style festivities take place all day under tents in tree-shaded Elkins City Park and in the buildings adjoining the park. The juried craft fair have many of Appalachia's finest artisans selling their unique creations. There is fun and entertainment for the entire family, including performance stages, dance hall, pipe organ concert, kids hands-on activities, pickin' parlor, young performers showcase, food vendors, August store, environmental exhibits, letter press printing demonstrations, and a gospel sing. Admission is free.
West Virginia State Fair
Lewisburg, West Virginia - West Virginia State Fairgrounds - August Description: Come join in one of West Virginia's finest traditions, the West Virginia State Fair. We showcase agriculture, education and the best in family entertainment! Located in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, the State Fair is easily accessible from Interstate 64. Fairgoers have consistently given high ratings to the quality of entertainment, safety, cleanliness and customer service - a distinction noticed and honored by the American Bus Association for 2008 when our Fair was named one of the top 100 events in North America. Huntington WV Ribfest

Italian Heritage Festival
Clarksburg, West Virginia - August Description: The West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival has been rated among the "Top 100 Events in North America" by the ABA and a "Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society". The Festival offers events, authentic Italian cuisine and "fun and games" for people of all ages. A special "childrens" area and stage has been added over the years that is designed to entertain the smaller children during the entire Festival, from The Rugrats and Happy the Clown to magicians and music. Top-named entertainers can be found on the main stage during the Festival. Charleston Sternwheel Regatta
