Barry Brown and The New School Hicks - Music Entertainer - McBee, SC
by Barry Brown
(McBee, SC, Chesterfield)
I am a Nashville recording artist who is currently working on a new project with Craig Hayes and Billy Burdette in Nashville, TN. In 2009 we will be recording in the world famous Sound Kitchen Studio with a single release planned shortly afterwards. My debut album "Headed Home" was completed in 2007, and the single "Three Hundred Horses" charted at number eighty nine on the Music Row rankings.
I have had the good fortune to headline such concerts as the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN, Bike Fest in Statesville, NC, and many others. I have also been the headliner for Kenny Gate 2007 and 2008, an opening show for Kenny Chesney in Columbia, SC, as well as opening for other artists such as, Hank Williams Jr., Sugarland, Pat Green, Brooks and Dunn, Gretchen Wilson, Trent Tomlinson, Sammy Kershaw, Gary Allen and many others.
My band and I put on a very energetic concert that can be tailored to the events needs and desire. We perform a vast array of cover songs as well as crowd pleasing original songs written by Nashville writers as well as myself and my lead guitar player, Dickie Fredrick.
