Captain Rat & The Blind Rivets - 50's-60's Musical Extravaganza - Michigan City, IN /Urbana, IL

(Michigan City, IN /Urbana, IL)
We are often described as Midwest's No.1 Party Band....in short, we are a really good time and appeal to audiences of all ages.
We perform many fairs and festivals and corporate functions throughout the Midwest and beyond. We have been dubbed the unofficial rock and roll band of the University of Illinois, as we are all graduates and were chosen as the featured entertainment for the past 2 California Rosebowl appearances of the U of I football team. We often partner with the U of I Alumni Association for related functions.
We returned recently from our 7th trip to Nassau, Bahamas, as featured entertainment there for the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort Festival of Lights, where we put on a rock n roll Christmas Show yearly.
We're all IL residents and professionals by day but love pleasing crowds of all ages wherever located. Our fan base includes tons of U of I grads now living in the Chicago area and throughout the country.
This past September we entertained on the Main Stage for the Route 66 Festival held in downtown Springfield, IL, playing all the hot rod rock tunes of the day. Car shows, surf music and summer festivals are our forte.
We have tons of promo material and a full video on our web page so please tune in to: www.captainratandtheblindrivets.com, and check us out. We are a FUN band and make people laugh and dance!
