(Leesburg, VA)
Chris Myers began singing on stage for audiences at the young age of 18 months (1985). In 2002 Chris attended Purdue University on a full scholarship to perform in Varsity Glee Club. With this opportunity, he performed in over 400 shows all around the globe. His time at Purdue was interrupted in the summer of 2003 when he was signed to a five-year record deal with SONY Music/Epic Records in Germany. The experience led to two single releases, the recording of an UNRELEASED album (just ask Chris about it...), two video shoots, numerous live television performances, and a nation-wide tour, as a member of the group "Fource."
In 2004, before the album was released, Chris decided to return to college to finish his studies. In 2007 he began recording his first solo demo at The Lodge Recording Studios in Indianapolis. This project consisted of a number of individuals, thus adapting the name "The Myers Project."
Earning his degree in Film and Video Production in the Fall of 2007, Chris headed straight into the studio to record. Currently, he is working as a Director of Development for the President's Council at Purdue University.
However, he will be living on the East Coast effective December 18, 2009. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in booking Chris to perform at your private or corporate event (wedding, corporate party, birthday bash, etc.) send a request to CDM113@gmail.com. The overall performance can be tailor-made to fit the occasion. All financial and booking arrangements will have to be discussed after an e-mail has been received on our end. Please include "BOOKING REQUEST" in the title along with your contact information and a description of the event.
"Thank you for your support!"
