3/19/2013 (Huntsville, Alabama) - WEUP Radio in conjunction with Alabama A&M University is excited to announce the return of WEUP’s Black Arts Festival to the grounds of Alabama A&M. This exciting change of venue occurred due to the exponential growth of festival attendees over the years. This year the community will celebrate the 20th Black Arts Festival.

The ribbon cutting for the commencement of this year’s festival will take place on June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. on the grounds of Alabama A&M University. The festival will run Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23, 2013.

As a fundraiser for the Harris Home for Children, the festival continues to be instrumental in supporting this non-profit organization. Harris Home for Children has served the greater Huntsville community by providing care for dependent and neglected children. The home provides residential treatment services for youth ages twelve to twenty-one.
