Noe Palma - Country Musician - Kansas City, MO
(Kansas City, MO)
It sure doesn’t hurt having a name like Noe. It’s very different, unique, and memorable. That is also what people have been saying about Noe’s music for the past eight years.
Growing up in the Kansas City metro area, Noe started singing when he heard his first Elvis Presley song “All Shook Up.” Raised in a very musical family, he was engulfed by different rythms and sounds. Both his parents were talented singers and his father played the guitar. Like many of his friends he tried out for his high school choir and made it. Unfortunately he came to realize that he didn’t want to sing that style of music so he had to move on.
“I felt like I really was not singing the way I wanted to sing.” At the age of 16 he taught himself to play guitar just by watching his dad and his favorite artists on television, but he didn’t start singing professionally until he graduated college in 1997. “If you were
anywhere near my dorm room you could hear me clunking on my guitar jamming to Travis Tritt or Charlie Daniels.”
At the beginning of his career he tested the waters with a few bands & became very successful with Broken Cowboys, of which he was the
founder & lead singer. They toured Missouri and all the surrounding states. They played every major venue there was possible and developed a
healthy cult following. In 2001 Broken Cowboys took 2nd at the Colgate Country Music Showdown Midwest finals. They were even noticed by Tim
McGraw’s manager Scott Siman of RPM Management.
Many doors were opened from this exciting relationship and lots was learned. Since splitting with the Broken Cowboys Noe has been pushing the limits of his shows and his band mates.
“Hearing people say that my concert was just as much fun as the headliner or better puts a grin on my face from ear to ear!”
Noe is still working closely with his friends of Blue County to help his career move along the right path. “Some of my best learning experiences are when I went out on the road with them for a couple of weeks. Yeah we had tons of fun! We also made a ton of new fans.”
He continues to collect new material and write with his good friends in town and in Nashville. He also continues to polish his unique vocal style
and hones his unmatched stage presence. Noe enjoys opening for most national acts that run through Kansas City. Whether he plays at his favorite
club in a nice acoustic setting or he is rocking 15,000 people at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Noe Palma is going leave you with your jaw
