(Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, NM)
Open Road is not just another local country band but is known for our high-energy, crowd pleasing "contemporary" country music. In fact, we are called on often by KRST radio to play for their special events. We were with them at the State Fair in 2008 and opened for Deana Carter and played their KRSTmas (Christmas) party last year along with Jimmy Wayne at KIXX nightclub. We also kicked off their 30th birthday bash that featured Randy Travis, Joe Nichols, Luke Bryan and Chris Young at the Santa Ana Star Center Arena. We were also featured at the 2008 New Mexico Music Awards.
We also performed at the 2007 NM State Fair, the 2008 Southern NM Wine Festival, The 2007 Toys for Tots Rally, and have rotated at other venues in the Albuquerque area
In addition to playing some original music, we cover current chart-topping country tunes!! We can play any event; private, public or otherwise. We can travel for weekend events but require our compensation to include travel and lodging expenses.
