Biography

The Pearl Handle Band is comprised of five musician/singers that have each worked over 35 years in professional music. Each member has had extensive touring experience, and recording experience with some of the top Nashville and Chicago recording studios.

Former members of WhiskeyJack, Dr. Wu, Sawyer Brothers, Timothy P. & The RR#, and Sister Kate is just a bit of the history of PHB.

PHB sound is derived from each member’s individual experience to a collective tour-de-force in performing Classic Rock, Country Rock, the newer radio-hit Country, and Alt-Country.

Top-notch vocals, both lead and 4-part stacked harmonies are the signature sound of PHB. And, a blend of instrumentation; such as Mandolin, Accordion, and Native American flute. And then the foundation of hot lead guitars pedal steel, acoustic guitars, keys, synths, six-string bass, and superb drum and percussion rounds out the unique sound of PHB.

Each member is a lead vocalist in their own right as well as accomplished harmonist and arranger. Each member has extensive showband experience and brings this to the stage, each and every night they perform.

Collectively, PHB has either collaborated, performed with or opened for many top Country and Rock acts such as Ronnie Milsap, Bellamy Brothers, Glen Cambell, Ricky Van Shelton, Conway Twitty, and many more.
