Ron Scott - One-Man Band

Ron Scott consists of Yours Truly on lead vocals and guitars (acoustic and electric), and all other instrumentation (drums, bass, keys, etc.) on my laptop. I can cover 2 hours worth of Jimmy Buffett material, as well as Trop Rock hits by the likes of the Zac Brown Band, Bob Marley and the Beach Boys, and I cover some of the top tunes in the Country and Classic Rock genres. Both electric and acoustic guitars are wireless - this allows me to go out into and interact with the audience.

A tropical/Gulf Coast/water theme runs throughout most of the material I play- very fun stuff that goes over great everywhere I go.

I travel with a full PA and lights - even a fog machine if deemed appropriate for the venue. Basically, the experience is this - if you shut your eyes when you walk in the door, you'll swear you're listening to a full band.

I have 30+ years' experience performing live, having opened for the likes of Foreigner and Joan Jett, and have showcased the Whisky a GoGo in Los Angeles for producer Tom (Twisted Sister, Cheap Trick) Werman, and I have performed at SXSW in
Austin, TX.
