The Vader Boys group formed in the spring of 2008. The members consist of 19 year old Mike Manson and 17 year old Shamel Bryant, “The Cooka," a very talented duo almost reminiscent to Pete Rock and CL Smooth. Shamel produces, mixes and also raps on the featured songs. Mike Manson & The Cooka have a very fun party-like atmosphere in their music, almost giving you that feel that these are the dudes that anyone can out with them. They describe their sound as "Invasion," which is very unique and diverse ranging from drum & bass retro hip hop, rock, pop and electronic, Banging 808's and voice samples, a true hip sound.
