We serve Philadelphia Style Water-Ice (similar to Italian Ice). Michele was born and raised in Philly and decided to have Rio Rancho exposed to a better quality product other than snow cones and shaved ice. It is not shaved ice or snow cones that pour syrups on ice. What's The Scoop is new and independent, and franchise free! Basically, Water Ice is just another name for Italian Ice, except that our ices offer smooth product consistency. It is made like ice cream in a batch freezer so everything is blended at once. Our base ingredients are a blend of the finest fruit concentrates, purees, fruit acids, and flavors available. There is no high fructose corn syrup-we use natural sugar. Our product is fat-free, cholesterol-free, and dairy-free. The base ingredients are shipped from Philly and are processed in a Kosher facility. I have attached a photo of the cart so you can get an idea of what the cart looks like. We will travel where we are licensed to do business-Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.
