Whistlin Dixie consists of four musicians.
Darrell Davis – Lead Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Rhythm Guitar. Darrell grew up in Deer, Arkansas playing drums and singing in his Father’s country and western band. Darrell quickly mastered percussion and moved on to guitar and bass guitar when he found a love for singing. Darrell’s rich voice closely resembles that of recording artist Travis Tritt. Influences include Travis Tritt, Merle Haggard and Craig Morgan.
Mark Bokun – Harmonica, Harmony Vocalist. Mark has been playing harmonica for more than 40 years. An accomplished musician, Mark finds himself at home sharing the stage with musicians of almost any genre. His strong harmony vocals and top-notch abilities on harmonica provide a unique musical dimension that connect with audiences.
Dakota Henderson – Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar. Dakota has grown up in a musical family where performing shows was the norm. His deep vocals closely resemble that of the late great Johnny Cash.
David Wagler – Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar. David has played guitar for nearly 40 years. A broad influence by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Brent Mason, Chet Atkins and Stevie Ray Vaughan has led to David’s hybrid approach to guitar. David is an accomplished musician, playing music throughout the US and overseas. David has opened for recording artists such as Craig Morgan, The Warren Brothers, Daryl Worley, Trick Pony, Ricochet, Perfect Stranger and Moe Bandy.
Whistlin Dixie is a high energy show that encourages and expects audience participation.
